Directions

From Junction 18 M25

  • Northbound from Heathrow/M4
    Exit M25 at Junction 18 – at the 1st set of traffic lights turn left onto A 404 towards Amersham.
  • Southbound from M1
    Exit M25 at Junction 18 – at the 1st set of traffic lights turn right on to A404 towards Amersham.
    Continue on the A404 for 4 miles until you enter Little Chalfont, once entering Little Chalfont you will drop down under a railway bridge, the Sugar Loaf Inn can be found 500 yards on the right hand side.

From Junction 2 M40

Exit M40 at Junction 2 and head towards Beaconfield and Amersham. At the first round about turn left again still heading towards Beaconfield and Amersham and at the 2nd round about at the start of Old Town Beaconfield turn right towards Amersham on the A355. After 5 miles you will start to descend down a steep hill, and at the bottom of the hill you will come to a roundabout, which you will need to turn right at, heading towards The Chalfonts on the A413. After a mile you will reach a 2nd roundabout, which you will need to go straight across towards Little Chalfont on the A404. Stay on the A404, going across a mini roundabout and after 4 miles you will enter Little Chalfont, again go across a mini round about and follow the road round until you see a parade of shops on your right and the Sugar Loaf can be found on the left hand side.


By Train

Chalfont & Latimer Station is situated 300 yards from The Sugar Loaf Inn.

The Chiltern Line runs between Alesbury and London Marylebone going via Amersham and Harrow on the Hill.

The Metropolitan Line runs between Amersham and London Baker street, via Moor Park (change for Watford) and Harrow on The Hill.

The Metropolitan line also runs between Chesham and Chalfont & Latimer.
