The Sugar Loaf Inn in Little Chalfont is situated within The Chilterns, which is recognised as an area of out-standing beauty and within a short drive to the Chess Valley, which boasts one of South Buckinghamshire’s best known best loved public walks. Built in the late 30’s, the Sugar Loaf was originally a hotel feeding off the near by train station OF Chalfont and Latimer. The Inn has recently been taken over by new owners and has undergone a major re-fit. The original oak panelled walls have been restored, and new wooden floors, bespoke lighting and blinds all added to give this classic 1930’s pub a contemporary gastro feel. Guests can enjoy a fine drinking and dining experience amongst contemporary décor and modern, comfortable furnishings that complement many of the original features.

The food philosophy is simple, quality, fresh ingredients with uncomplicated presentation and value for money being the main aim. The a la carte menu features a choice range of classic European dishes served with a modern twist plus many pub favourites. A daily changing menu and a weekly changing Prix Fixe set lunch menu keep the menu changing. Local produce is used throughout the menu.

Service is relaxed and informal but with a commitment to taking care of the details. There is an eat anywhere policy. There is also a large garden to the rear which will see plenty of al fresco dining during the warmer summer months.

The full bar includes a selection of draught and bottled lagers and three real ales, which we are cask marque accredited. A selection of fine Malt Whiskies and brandies, and wines many of which are by the glass.
